Jeff Gove
Co-Founder, Financial Advisor, RICP®

With over 10 years of experience in the financial advisory industry, Jeff Gove has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. As one of the founders of Stonebridge Wealth Systems, LLC, he collaborates with partners Tim Kulhanek, Jeremy Gove, and Scott Nachtigal to provide a comprehensive suite of tailored financial solutions that empower clients to build sustainable wealth.

Outside of his professional life, Jeff is a devoted family man. He lives with his wife and four children, cherishing the joys and challenges of family life. Their two beloved dogs add an extra layer of joy to their home, reminding him of the importance of balance and harmony in both personal and professional realms.

Jeff believes that financial planning is not just about numbers—it is about understanding each client’s unique story and aspirations. His commitment to integrity, transparency, and client education has earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor in the community. Tim Kulhanek
Co-Founder, Financial Advisor, CRPSTM

Tim Kulhanek grew up in Kearney, NE where he resided until 2013 when he moved to Lincoln to open a new Stonebridge location. Tim co-founded Stonebridge Insurance & Wealth Management, and now Stonebridge Wealth Systems, LLC with Jeff Gove and Scott Nachtigal back in 2012 in the corner office the three of them shared. Since then, Stonebridge Wealth Systems, LLC has grown to four physical locations with plans to continue expanding in the future.

Tim lives in Lincoln with his lovely wife, Marli, and their two beautiful daughters Lenin and Hattie. Tim and Marli are excited to welcome a new addition to the family in November 2024. Like many Nebraskans, Tim is an avid Husker fan and enjoys Saturdays in the fall hanging out in his recently remodeled garage and watching Husker Football and Volleyball. While not at work, Tim spends most of his time playing in the back yard, going for bike rides or walks, or playing games at the park. Tim is also a fireworks enthusiast and has obtained his Articles of Pyrotechnics certificate.

Tim is the co-host of the Stonebridge Retirement Compass Radio Show on KRVN and KLIN and is also a featured guest on The Retirement Compass with Stonebridge TV Show, which airs weekly across the region. Tim holds both the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, as well as the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning. Tim is also a member of the Ed Slott Elite IRA Advisor Group.

Scott Nachtigal
Co-Founder, Financial Advisor LUTCF®

Scott Nachtigal is a partner at Stonebridge Wealth Systems, LLC, with over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. His expertise lies in crafting comprehensive strategies aimed at helping safeguard his clients’ assets, with a particular focus on income and Social Security planning. Scott’s passion for helping others drives his commitment to delivering tailored financial solutions.

Scott began his career in 1999, gaining valuable experience working for industry-leading insurance firms such as MetLife and Mutual of Omaha. In 2012, Scott co-founded Stonebridge Insurance & Wealth Management, alongside Jeff Gove and Tim Kulhanek, building the firm into a trusted name in the business. In 2023, the partners established Stonebridge Wealth Systems, LLC, dedicated to strengthening the firm’s Wealth Management services. Scott holds the Series 65 securities license and is licensed for life and health insurance in Nebraska. Scott graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska.

Away from the office, Scott enjoys hunting big game in Colorado and Nebraska, and he is an avid snowboarder who loves spending time in the Colorado mountains. In the summer, you may find him with a fishing pole in hand or scuba diving beneath the water. Above all, Scott treasures time with his two children, Bella and Sam, whom he feels blessed to have in his life.

Jeremy Gove
Partner, Financial Advisor

Jeremy Gove’s journey in the financial sector began in 1996 while managing a motel in Kearney, Nebraska, as he pursued a finance degree with an emphasis on accounting at the University of Nebraska Kearney. This role was complemented by his early career in financial services, selling long-term care and Medicare supplement insurance after obtaining his life and health license. These experiences laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to helping clients protect their futures, a principle that continues to guide his approach to asset protection and wealth management.

In 2001, Jeremy ventured into entrepreneurship by purchasing the motel he had been managing. This venture, combined with his passion for investing, naturally propelled him further into the financial services industry.

Jeremy’s expertise also spans beyond traditional financial advising. He has collaborated with real estate developers and other experts on diverse projects, from hotels to assisted living facilities and potable water supply solutions for the Southwest. He uses this extensive experience to provide insights into project feasibility. Additionally, his knowledge of 1031 exchanges helps support clients in deferring capital gains taxes on real estate transactions.

Having been a small business owner and commercial real estate investor, as well as serving on the board of directors for a privately held company, Jeremy delivers unique insights and practical strategies for future planning.

His professional journey is supported by an array of credentials, including the Series 6, 7, 63, 65, and 66 securities exams and a certificate in Financial Management from Cornell University. Additionally, he has held property and casualty insurance licenses in Nebraska. Currently, Jeremy holds life, annuities, and health licenses and is an Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65) with Stonebridge Wealth Systems, LLC. This breadth of expertise equips him to evaluate clients’ financial landscapes from a comprehensive perspective.

Jeremy views learning as a lifelong journey and is invigorated by the continuous evolution within the financial services industry. Its variety enriches his expertise, enabling him to significantly impact his clients’ financial success.

He lives in Kearney, where he has deep roots, enjoying life with his wife and two daughters. Active in his local church, he leads a couple’s small group and has served as a trustee. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys playing pickleball and golf, watching sports, and cherishing quality time with family.

Stonebridge Wealth Systems has become a brotherhood of advisors who believe in being independent to provide better, more personalized service to their clients. Together, they have become leaders of a practice that values relationships over transactions and strives to build the bridge between a broken big-box firm agenda and sound financial guidance.
Scott Nachtigal got his start in insurance through a family member because he enjoyed the flexibility of the schedule. This propelled his life in a new direction, and he obtained a particular skillset and knowledge of the market over the years he spent in the big box firms. Jeremy Gove began in insurance with a friend, opening up a new office for his firm. His brother-in-law was also in the industry but worked independently, which intrigued Jeremy. Both men saw the corporate sector’s agenda as self-seeking and restrictive in what they could offer.
Jeff Gove joined the industry in 2008, working with Scott and Jeremy. He realized how important financial planning was when he started helping clients plan for social security. Tim Kulhanek was planning to work for a big-box firm after college, but that path took a different turn when he met Scott, who saw drive and potential in Tim and brought him onto the team at Stonebridge Wealth Systems.
These fiercely independent entrepreneurs took a risk to make this business work because they understood the value they could provide to their clients when they broke free from the corporate culture. Now, they are dedicated to helping their clients find their own independence as they follow their dreams for retirement.
Courtney Criffield
Director of Marketing

Courtney is the Director of Marketing at Stonebridge, where she leads all marketing campaigns, events, and financial education seminars. With a bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Relations, Courtney has honed her ability to build warm, genuine relationships with clients. Her 20+ years of experience in customer service, project management, and marketing have enabled her to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty through personable and skilled service.

Courtney is passionate about helping people learn about tax-free retirement, investing, and estate planning. Known for her strong relationship-building and customer retention strategies, she thrives on creating efficient processes and meaningful customer connections. She excels at forming partnerships with other businesses to further this mission and enjoys contributing to Stonebridge’s vision of helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Outside of work, Courtney is a proud ‘boy mom’ and enjoys camping, boating, fishing, and watching football with her husband, Brent, and their three sons. Whether she is following her younger boys from one sporting event to another or keeping up with her adult son’s busy career, Courtney embraces the joy of family life. She also loves taking trips with her family and snuggling with her two cats and Goldendoodle. Family and faith are central to Courtney’s life, grounding her through life’s ups and downs and contributing to her warm, personable nature.

Ron Mallam
Senior Products Representative

With over 48 years of insurance experience, Ron still enjoys helping clients with their insurance goals. These days, Ron focuses on helping clients choose their Medicare supplement, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Rx plans. He earned his CLU designation in 1987 and brings a wealth of experience to the firm. Ron believes that it is extremely important to review Medicare plans yearly during the Annual Election Period of Oct. 15th – Dec. 7th.

Eli Mardock

Eli Mardock specializes in helping retirees, business owners, and families work toward a secure financial future. With expertise in wealth management, retirement planning, tax strategies, and legacy planning, Eli provides personalized advice tailored to meet each client’s unique goals.

Growing up in a family-owned bakery in small-town Nebraska, Eli learned the value of hard work and developed a deep understanding of the challenges business owners face. This, along with over 20 years of experience running his own small businesses, gives him unique insight into the financial needs of business owners and families alike.

As a fiduciary advisor, Eli believes in a straightforward approach and always puts his clients’ best interests first, building long-term relationships based on trust and transparency. Whether you are preparing for retirement or navigating complex financial decisions, Eli simplifies financial concepts into clear, actionable steps, so you feel confident and informed every step of the way.

Eli lives in Lincoln, NE, with his wife, Carrie, their four children, and their poodle. Outside of work, Eli enjoys supporting his children’s activities and staying active in the local community.

John Ternus
Financial Advisor, ABFPTM, ChFC®

John is a financial advisor dedicated to helping clients navigate their financial journeys. His interest in personal finance was sparked by observing how individuals with similar incomes can lead very different lives based on their financial choices. Inspired by this insight, he transitioned into a career in financial advising after retiring from twenty-two years of military service.

John has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation. As a ChFC® professional, he is prepared to help his clients with comprehensive financial planning knowledge, including income planning, insurance, income taxation, retirement planning, investments, and estate planning. Understanding that effective financial planning encompasses numbers and human behavioral aspects, John has also earned the Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional™ (ABFPTM) designation.

He earned his Bachelor of Science, majoring in Finance, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Maryland Global Campus. John is an Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65) with Stonebridge Wealth Systems LLC and is licensed in Nebraska for life and annuities, as well as sickness, accident, and health insurance.

Residing in Grand Island with his wife, Amy, and their two sons, John enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether it’s camping, fishing, or simply exploring nature, he values quality time with his family. John is committed to providing personalized financial guidance that empowers his clients to take charge of their financial futures.

Daniel Oleson
Financial Planner

Daniel has joined Stonebridge Wealth Systems, LLC as a Financial Planner, based in the Omaha office. In this role, Daniel supports senior advisors throughout the financial planning process, contributing his skills and dedication to help clients achieve their financial goals.

Originally from northwest Iowa, Daniel now calls Omaha home. He met his wife, Nicole, in 2018 while traveling for work, and the two enjoy spending their time exploring the outdoors, traveling, and visiting family. Over the past year, Daniel and Nicole have enjoyed road trips through seven western states, visiting three national parks, and “camping” in a converted van, along with trips to Branson to see their nieces and nephews.

Daniel is excited to be part of the Stonebridge team and looks forward to helping clients financially plan for a successful and fulfilling future.

Aliisa Criffield
Executive Assistant

Aliisa Criffield brings a unique blend of experience in health and exercise science, along with her new passion for financial health. With over 20 years of helping individuals improve their physical well-being, Aliisa has taught sports and exercise science and kinesiology at the college level. Recently, she has shifted her focus from physical health to financial wellness, guiding individuals in saving money and planning for retirement.

Aliisa holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and has now earned her Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP) certification, as well as her Life and Health Insurance License. Currently, she is working toward becoming a licensed Financial Planner, with a deep passion for helping clients identify gaps in their financial plans and educating them on strategies for financial growth.

Aliisa resides in Kearney with her husband, Tim, and a daughter and son still at home, along with their two dogs and cat. They also have an adult son who is working on his own career goals. In her free time, Aliisa enjoys cheering on her kids in their sports, spending time with family, and camping.

Amy Halstead
Client Services Specialist

Amy joined Stonebridge Insurance & Wealth Management in November 2021, bringing over a decade of experience in the insurance and finance industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and began her career in 1997 as a crop insurance agent. Over the years, Amy expanded her expertise by earning Property & Casualty, and Life & Health licenses. Her commitment to exceptional customer service for Stonebridge Wealth Systems, LLC, now remains a central focus in her work.

A longtime resident of Kearney, Amy is actively involved in her community. She and her husband, Rod, are proud parents of five children and have one granddaughter. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and volunteering.

Cindy Guerber
Administrative Support Specialist

Cindy joined the Stonebridge team in October of 2024.  She is a native of Neligh, Nebraska, and after graduating high school, Cindy attended Doane College where she pursued a degree in Corporate Communications and Art.  Putting her creative talents to work, Cindy spent about 8 years as a baker and cake designer before switching career paths to the insurance industry.  She is dedicated to helping people, bringing 17 years of experience specializing in life insurance and annuities.  Cindy currently lives in Lincoln with her husband, Jay, and two sons, Dawson and Brady.  In her free time, Cindy enjoys attending her kids’ activities, golfing, doing CrossFit, and baking.

Maci McMinn
Administrative Services Specialist

Maci grew up in the small town of Oshkosh in western Nebraska, graduating from high school in 2012. In 2017, she embraced the joys of motherhood with the birth of her daughter and has cherished the experience ever since. Maci spent the next decade building a solid career in the banking industry before embarking on a new path in 2022, joining Stonebridge Wealth Systems, LLC. She and her husband, Ethan, reside in Kearney, NE, with their two daughters, Tahlia and Naomi, and their two beloved miniature dachshunds, Jax and Linx. As they enjoy living life as a blended family, the McMinns focus on nurturing their strong family bond, spending quality time together and attending Grace Fellowship Church.
